Mist AI is a robust application designed to facilitate the installation and configuration of network devices, specifically tailored for Juniper Switches, WAN edge routers, Mist edges, and Mist Access Points. The solution streamlines the process of onboarding new hardware into an organization’s network infrastructure.

Upon logging in, users are greeted with a secure environment, where access is regulated based on user roles; administrators enjoy full access to features, while installers have permissions limited to initial device setup tasks. The login process is fortified with options such as Single Sign-On (SSO) and biometric authentication, enhancing both convenience and security.

The 'Claim Device' function allows for the quick and effortless addition of devices to an organization (Org) or site, using activation codes or QR codes. Inventory management is equally intuitive, providing capabilities to search for devices by name, MAC address, or QR code scan. Users can manage and view device counts at the organizational level, and effortlessly assign multiple devices to a specific site. Device models and their associated sites are displayed for easy tracking.

Site information is readily accessible, showcasing device lists, map views of Access Points, device counts, and statuses, facilitating navigation to detailed device pages. Extensive device details are available, including the MAC address, connection status, firmware version, and uptime. Management functions allow for unassigning, unclaiming, or replacing devices, and Access Points can be removed from maps or accurately placed on a floor plan.

To take full advantage of the platform, users are required to have a Mist account, appropriate role access, and the necessary Juniper hardware for deployment within their organization.
